Tiny Toppers of Maryland  is a group of volunteers of all ages

who knit and crochet hats for preemie and newborn babies in

local hospitals in the Baltimore area.

                     Chapter Hat Total: 40,071

 BY THE NUMBERS.......a little history...

We closed out 2017 with a grand total of 26,786 hats donated!! We broke all sorts of records in 2018 with a total of 31,858! In 2019 we added 4,726 to a grand total of 36,584!! And our total continues to climb in 2...0...2...0...and the final number is in!!!




  WOW !!!!!



In almost 9 years, this AMAZING group of dedicated volunteers has rolled out....

The fun doesn't stop at Kenilworth!! Some of the Tiny Toppers celebrated at Bahama Breeze after a tough week of creating holiday hats!! 



Special thanks to our "phantom" volunteer whose sister continues to drop off MORE adorable bears!  This volunteer continues to add to our hat total as well! These were a special delivery!  The bears will be delivered to the pediatrics department at U of MD Hospital and will undoubtedly make some children very happy!! Thank you so much!! Your talent and generosity are deeply appreciated!

360 hats were made and donated in December.

We have exceeded the 20,000 mark!!!


Yes, that's correct!! Our faithful


group 'topped' the mark at the end


 of May with a total of ***20,277***

 hats for those precious little noggins

at our local hospitals!!


And they just keep rollin' in!!!!

It's the BIG ONE!!!




On January 2, 2016, Tiny Toppers of


Maryland celebrated our 4th Birthday!


At that point, the total number of Tiny Toppers created and distributed to babies at area hospitals was 18,235 and our membership had grown to more than 90 volunteer knitters, crocheters and generous givers of time and talent!


And the good news just keeps coming!!!!


 In February alone,

we donated 319 hats!!!


WOW!! Congratulations!! Job well done!!

Thank you from all those little warm noggins!!
